Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Hatfield, MA is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift. You will transport merchandise within the warehouse, rotate pallets, and unload/load trailers while maintaining accurate inventory records using RF handheld devices.

You will receive paid training, weekly pay, and benefits from day one. The role requires standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and complying with safety procedures in a perishable environment.

Qualifications

• Requires valid MHE/Forklift Certification and ability to operate stand‑up, sit‑down, reach truck or cherry picker.
• Demonstrates safe operation and compliance with all company policies.
• Experience with RF handheld devices and proof of accurate record keeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse.
• Put away, drop down, and rotate pallets in reserve racks.
• Maintain replenishment in the computer and on the floor using handhelds.
• Stack cases, fill pallet slots, and pull materials for production lines.
• Unload trailers and move finished product to storage areas.
• Complete paperwork and change forklift batteries as needed.
• Keep work area clean, handle spills, and follow safety procedures.
• Travel: not required.
