Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Forklift Operator for 2nd shift. You will operate a stand-up forklift, move pallets, and help maintain accurate inventory while following safety protocols. Training is provided, and benefits start from day one.

The role requires standing and lifting, with schedule 6:30 PM–5:00 AM on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Competitive hourly pay with incentive opportunities and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) experience operating material handling equipment (forklift).
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.
• Team-oriented with reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport merchandise to designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer and related tech.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment as needed.
• Replenish pick slots and staging areas to support timely orders.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers; observe safety rules.
