Job summary

Shoreline Container in Michigan is seeking an experienced forklift driver for the 2nd shift to ensure timely loading of finished goods onto outgoing trucks and to stage products in the warehouse. You will also support manufacturing by moving products to and from production areas and complete necessary shipping paperwork.

Operate powered industrial equipment (hilo), maintain housekeeping, and adhere to safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and powered industrial equipment (hilo) certification.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand and twist for long periods.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment (hilo).
• Load finished goods onto outgoing trucks in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Stage finished goods in the warehouse.
• Move products to and from production areas as needed.
• Complete necessary shipping and warehousing paperwork.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping in shipping and departments.
• Support and adhere to internal quality and safety programs.
