Job summary

Allen Distribution in Indiana is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am, Sunday–Thursday). You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, load and unload shipments, and help ensure accurate inventory through RF scanning.

This full-time role requires safety focus, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, certification in material handling equipment, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain material handling equipment certification.
• Experience operating forklifts preferred (training available).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Use RF scan devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Follow SOPs and customer-specific instructions.
• Complete required documentation (receiving tickets, pick lists, load reports).
• Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
