Job summary
Smithfield Foods is hiring Powered Equipment Operators to support production lines in our facility. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, moving product safely and efficiently, with strict safety and quality standards.
The 2nd shift runs 12:00 PM-8:00 PM with a $0.50/hour differential. Starting pay is $19.90/hour, plus health insurance, retirement benefits, and education benefits for eligible team members.
Qualifications
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, jacks, high lifts, and powered industrial trucks to move product throughout the facility.
- Ensure safety, quality, and teamwork standards are met during production.
- Be prepared for overtime based on production demands.
