Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Material Handlers/Powered Equipment Operator to support production by moving product with forklifts and related equipment. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the production line, and assist teammates as needed.

Positions require certifications, physical endurance, and willingness to work overtime based on demand. Competitive starting pay of $22.28/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift, with comprehensive benefits and education

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for long shifts.
• Certifications may be required during the qualification period.
• Ability to operate or learn forklift and related material-handling equipment safely.
