Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse, yard, and production material movement on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, manage inventory, and assist with shipping and receiving, with a pay rate of $24.59 per hour.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, outdoor work, reading batch sheets and bills of lading, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Full-time, indoor/outdoor environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• Stand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.
• Ability to read shipping documents and safety instructions.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading.
• Load/unload trucks and railcars.
• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers.
• Support recycling and yard organization.
• Maintain FIFO and inventory documentation.
• Clean spills and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
