Job summary

LINC, a division of Universal Logistics, seeks reliable warehouse associates and material handlers for Flint, MI. The position offers multiple shifts, with the core 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

Starting pay is $14.50/hour with regular increases and a raise at 90 days. Benefits after 90 days include dental, health, and vision insurance plus PTO. Duties include forklift operation, palletizing, offloading inbound material, and loading trucks while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of forklift experience.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on dock equipment.
• Be available for irregular work schedules and up to 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets and materials.
• Sort and arrange product on pallets and assist with picking.
• Offload inbound material and place in designated DLOC per label.
• Replenish storage locations each shift in FIFO order.
• Load pallets and product for truck loading per diagram.
• Shrink wrap pallets for delivery and ensure correct labeling.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report discrepancies to supervisor.

Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm

Pay: $14.50/hour to start with consistent wage increases! First raise at 90 days.

Job Duties Include

• Safe operations of Fork-lift
• Sorting and arranging product on pallets (picking)
• Offload inbound material and place in proper DLOC according to assigned DLOC printed on part number label
• Replenish DLOC storage locations every shift with overflow in a FIFO manner
• Storing product or loading truck with pallets of product
• Obtain daily order sheets from supervisor
• Load order following diagram that design truck loads
• Use Fork-lift to drive pallets through ware house to loading Dock
• Shrink wrap pallets for delivery
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Ensure that cargo is identified and inspected before loading and unloading and compared to shippers.
• Ensure discrepancies are documented and handled according to proper procedure.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of Forklift Experience
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
• Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating work shifts
• Ability to work up to 6 days per week
• Ability to adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines
