Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, via its LINC division, is seeking warehouse associates in Flint, MI. The role includes forklift operation, pallet picking, and loading duties on a 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm). Starting pay is $14.50/hour with regular increases and a $1,000 referral bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years forklift experience required.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on dock equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and move pallets to storage and loading areas.
• Sort and arrange product on pallets for picking and shipment.
• Load and unload inbound material and verify against labels.
• Replenish storage locations and ensure FIFO with overflow.
• Wrap pallets for delivery and assist with truck loading.
• Follow supervisor orders and document discrepancies.

Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm

Pay: $14.50/hour to start with consistent wage increases! First raise at 90 days.

Job Duties Include

• Safe operations of Fork-lift
• Sorting and arranging product on pallets (picking)
• Offload inbound material and place in proper DLOC according to assigned DLOC printed on part number label
• Replenish DLOC storage locations every shift with overflow in a FIFO manner
• Storing product or loading truck with pallets of product
• Obtain daily order sheets from supervisor
• Load order following diagram that design truck loads
• Use Fork-lift to drive pallets through ware house to loading Dock
• Shrink wrap pallets for delivery
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Ensure that cargo is identified and inspected before loading and unloading and compared to shippers.
• Ensure discrepancies are documented and handled according to proper procedure.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of Forklift Experience
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
• Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating work shifts
• Ability to work up to 6 days per week
• Ability to adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines
