Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Flint, MI area to join the LINC division. The role involves safe forklift operation, loading and unloading, palletization, and ensuring accurate placement of goods according to shift instructions.

The position is 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm) with starting pay of $14.50/hour and regular wage increases. Benefits and PTO are offered after probation, with opportunities for overtime and growth within the logistics team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of forklift experience.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on dock equipment.
• Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts.
• Ability to work up to 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of forklift and material handling on pallets.
• Sort and arrange product on pallets and load/unload as directed.
• Follow DLOC storage locations and FIFO procedures.
• Shrink wrap pallets for delivery and verify cargo against shipper docs.
