Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking a Forklift Operator in Carlisle, IA for a 2nd shift at a distribution center. Training on the day shift (6:00am-2:30pm) is required for 2-4 weeks, with pay of $22.75 per hour and 2:30pm-11:00pm shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving goods, stacking pallets, and using a handheld scanner to track product. OSHA forklift certification and at least 1 year of forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• Good math, language and reading skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and move them within the facility.
• Load and unload goods from warehouse and move pallets or crates.
• Move goods around storage facility and stack pallets as needed.
• Use handheld scanner to locate and track product.
• Inspect products for quality conformity.
