Remedy Staffing seeks an experienced forklift operator for a long-term position on the NE side of Des Moines. Hours are 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with pay at $21.00 per hour.

The role involves loading/unloading, operating a forklift, using a warehouse management system, and maintaining accurate receipts and inventories. Prior forklift experience is required and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• One year minimum sit-down electric forklift experience.

Responsabilités

• Safely loads, unloads, moves and stacks product using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Properly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
• Safely picks, wraps, counts, weighs, inventories or tags products and materials.
• Safely loads outbound freight; receives inbound loads.
• Properly stages material within designated areas.
• Inspects equipment and performs basic maintenance to ensure safe operations.
• Inspects trailers prior to loading or unloading freight.
• Maintains the cleanliness and order of work areas.
