Har-Tru, LLC is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for the second shift in Troy, VA. You will operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and organize materials and finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires prior forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Shifts are four 10-hour days (Mon–Thu, 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.).

• Reports To: Production Supervisor
• Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
• Status: Full-Time, Non-exempt
• Salary Range: $41,000 – $50,000 (~$20-24 per hour)

Position Summary

Har-Tru is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Troy, VA. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and organize materials and finished products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a second-shift position with a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., consisting of four 10-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate and safe handling of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Working Conditions

Typically located in an industrial space with no air conditioning or heat. The environment is dusty. Frequent outside work, with exposure to the elements.
