Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola in Lewiston, Idaho is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate industrial vehicles, load and unload pallets, and maintain strict safety standards across daily operations.

This role requires 18+ years of age, forklift certification (or willingness to train within 1 month), and the ability to work weekends/holidays as directed. Lewiston DC offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a large beverage

• Forklift certified or willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month.
• Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements.
• Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time.
• Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements. Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time. Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures
• Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
• Ensure proper rotation of product
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
