Sika Corporation is seeking a Forklift Operator for 2nd and 3rd shift at our Gastonia, NC facility. You will load/unload materials, move goods through the warehouse, and support production lines to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include safety-compliant forklift use, inventory checks, and collaboration with production teams. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in material handling, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is preferred.
• Ability to read labels, work orders, and production schedules.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts.

Responsabilités

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, stack and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and packaging supplies to maintain continuous operations.
• Move finished products to designated storage or staging areas.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of materials.
• Verify quantities, labeling, and product identification before transport or storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
• Ensure proper storage locations per procedures and conduct daily forklift inspections.
• Follow safety SOPs and WIs; communicate shortages or delays to production staff.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as assigned.
