Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our new state-of-the-art facility. You will load and unload trailers, read load sheets, and ensure proper rotation and inventory integrity while maximizing trailer cube.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will follow food safety programs, operate stand-up forklifts, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator’s license required.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Knowledge of product locations and loading procedures.
• Willingness to perform other duties to support objectives.
• Food safety awareness and adherence to programs.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantities.
• Unloads inbound trailers and inventories products.
• Operates forklift during loading/unloading.
• Maintains inventory rows and stack integrity.
• Stacks pallets and routes them to conveyors or trailers.
• Uses scanning devices and ensures proper rotation.
• Supports quality and food safety tasks.
