Pratt Industries in Conyers, GA is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to safely operate powered industrial trucks, load/unload shipments, move stock to production machines, and keep accurate inventory records using scanning systems.

Responsibilities include performing daily forklift inspections, locating stock, delivering materials on time, and maintaining neat, safe storage areas while adhering to production schedules. A Lift Truck Operator License is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lift Truck Operator License required.
• Prior forklift experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and inspect before shift.
• Document forklift inspections and report needed repairs.
• Locate stock before run start and load/unload materials to machines.
• Deliver stock to machines on time and remove finished goods from lines.
• Maintain neat, safe stacks of stock and accurate location records.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow production schedule and suggest improvements as needed.
• Assist other forklift operators and back up Shipping Lead Person.
