Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift in North Carolina. In this role, you will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, load and unload trailers, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

You will be required to follow the 7S program, use a handheld scanner with high accuracy, and demonstrate commitment to process excellence. A high school diploma and 1 year warehouse experience are preferred, with overtime available as needed.

Qualifications

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Display a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving processes
