Job summary

Copeland in Lebanon, MO is seeking a Materials Handler to operate a forklift and move materials to designated locations, supporting the production line. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, expediting shipments, and assisting other departments while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or training preferred.
• At least 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Excellent verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Obtain a fork truck license through the company Fork Truck Certification program.
• Demonstrates basic computer skills and knowledge, including Oracle MSCA scanner after training.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, receives, and stores products in designated secure locations.
• Assists other departments in movement of product including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas.
• Confirms, validates, and approves shipping details; reviews documents; expedites shipments.
• Collects and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Coordinates with team to provide Fork Truck operation to support production needs.
• Operates equipment safely and efficiently, complying with safety rules.
