Job summary

Recycling Management Resources (RMR) is seeking a Full Time Mobile Equipment Operator for our Duluth, GA plant. The role centers on safe forklift operation to maintain production and quality.

Shift is 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential adjustments based on business needs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years operating skid steers/forklifts and familiarity with heavy industrial or recycling environments; basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating skid steers, forklifts, or similar mobile equipment.
• Experience in heavy industrial or recycling environments is a plus.
• Experience performing basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Load/unload material from trailers.
• Ensure correct quality of material that is handled.
• Record weights accurately.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of mobile and stationary equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to support uptime and safe operation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report mechanical or operational issues on equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and minor repairs as assigned (e.g., greasing, belt checks).
• Maintain general plant housekeeping.
