Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick Township, NJ, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support the supply chain. This full-time, first-shift role handles loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products, with training on crane, sweeper and compactors.

The position requires at least 2 years of forklift experience or related material handling, ability to lift 50 pounds, and basic computer skills. You will work Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience or combination of forklift experience and material handling work highly preferred.
• Experience in Stand‑up Order Picker Forklift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks).
• Ability to read and write in English (Numbers, Locations, short words and phrases)

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
• Responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Will cover and work in different areas of the receiving department (crane, sweeper machine, compactors).
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
• perform area maintenance as needed.
