Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking a Distribution Center Associate at our Westport, WI location to support live unloading, loading, and inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, experience with pallet jacks and forklifts, and familiarity with WMS systems. You will work 8–12 hour shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving for our distribution network.

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Experience driving a Pallet Jack/Hand truck, AND forklift and/or reach truck.
• Experience in shipping and receiving or fulfillment (Parcel Picking).
• Experience with WMS and WMS/RF Gun.

Responsibilities

• Unload finished products from warehouse to distribution network.
• Receive shipments and put away in appropriate areas.
• Learn and apply basic warehouse SOPs and processes.
• Understand various warehouse roles/jobs.
• Move loaded and empty trailers within the facility.

Responsibilities

Our Distribution Center team is responsible for live unloading of finished products for distribution to and from our manufacturing facilities and supplier partners, distributors, customers and consumers. This includes multiple modes of transportation (small parcel, LTL, FTL) throughout the United States and Canada and some international locations. Our team maintains inventory through cycle counting and workflow practices within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). We find and implement continued improvement practices in a best-in-class facility environment, with a collaborative team built on success.

• Experience and ability to pick and organize loads/pallets from various areas of the warehouse floor
• Ability to receive shipments and put away in appropriate areas
• Ability to learn and apply basic warehouse fundamentals, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform job duties
• Ability to understand various warehouse roles/jobs
• Ability to spot and move loaded and empty trailers throughout the facility

Qualifications
