Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Tolleson, AZ is hiring a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person for 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM). You will receive shipping manifests, pull product in rotation, and maximize trailer cube while keeping safety in mind.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks with pallet jacks or forklifts, organizing warehouse, verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Certification on forklift must be obtained day one.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required by day one.

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Tolleson, AZ for 1stShift .

As a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person this candidate receives shipping manifest and pulls product in proper rotation order while maximizing cube of trailer . This position works Monday-Friday, 6:00AM - 2:00PM.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and containers using manual labor, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Organize products in the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and easy access for order fulfillment.
• Verify product quantities and ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect products for damage and report any issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Prepare products for shipping, ensuring items are securely loaded onto delivery trucks according to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers.
• Assist in inventory management by performing cycle counts and other stock-related duties.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
• Recent forklift operating experience and ability to be certified day one of employment is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate handling and shipping of products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
