Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person on 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) to join our production and distribution team. The role requires basic math and reading skills, and involves loading and unloading trailers, reading load sheets, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, perform routine quality and food safety tasks, and support monthly inventory.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• On-the-job training provides knowledge of product locations and loading procedures.
• Must be forklift certified or obtain certification onsite.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product to destination.
• Unloads inbound trailers and inventories into designated areas in warehouse.
• Operates sit-down forklift during loading and unloading.
• Assists with monthly inventory.
• Maintains product rows and stands during pull/add to inventory.
• Stacks pallets and places in trailer.
• Loads/unloads trailers per warehouse needs; operates scanning devices.
• Ensures quality and food safety tasks are performed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Job Description

Utz Quality Foods is looking for a dependable individual to join our team as a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person on 2nd shift.This position will be based in ourGoodyear, AZ facility, and is scheduled to work Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product that needs loaded to destinations.
• Unloads inbound trailers and puts into inventory or designated areas in warehouse.
• Operates sit down forklift when loading and unloading.
• Assists with monthly Inventory.
• Maintains integrity of rows and stands of product when pulling or adding to inventory.
• Stacks empty pallets and places in a trailer.
• Loads and unloads trailers as required per warehouse, and operates scanning devices.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on the job training.
• Requires forklift operator’s certification, to be completed onsite.
• Required to wear non-slip shoes with safety toe and appropriate personal protective equipment
