Job summary

Olds Products Company in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift to support production and shipping. You will move materials, load and unload, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse. You will use handheld scanners, tablets, and a warehouse management system to record transactions, perform cycle counts, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts.
• Ability to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Experience using handheld scanners and computer tablets.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products for storage or shipment.
• Receive, count, label, store, and organize inventory while maintaining accurate records.
• Pull and rotate materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and inventory control programs.
• Load and unload trucks and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect materials for damage, report discrepancies, and ensure shipment accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documents and verify quantities, destinations, and routing information.
• Use warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and tablets to complete inventory transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
