Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a forklift operator for 1st shift to support daily production activities in a manufacturing setting. The role involves operating a forklift, moving materials, and adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include conducting safety checks, transporting materials to workstations, and collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth operations. A minimum of one year forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklift to lift, pull, and push materials onto forks from elevated areas.
• Perform routine safety checks on products and materials.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to support operations.
• Maintain safe work practices and wear PPE as required.

Shift

1st Shift: 5am-3pm

General Duties

• Forklift operating skills to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights - navigates throughout plant, including populated and small areas.
• Perform safety checks and assessments on product and materials.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Support other team members through collaboration and clear and concise communication skills.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Work with products up to 50lbs throughout the day.
• Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip door skins.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of Forklift experience.
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn.
