Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a skilled forklift operator for a 1st shift position in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include moving materials to production areas, performing safety checks, and collaborating with team members while adhering to PPE requirements and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, and a willingness to learn. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

**Shift**1st Shift: 5am-3pm**General Duties**Forklift operating skills to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights - navigates throughout plant, including populated and small areas.Perform safety checks and assessments on product and materials.Transport raw materials to production workstations.Support other team members through collaboration and clear and concise communication skills.Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.**Physical Requirements**Work with products up to 50lbs throughout the day.Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip door skins.Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.**Preferred Qualifications**One year of Forklift experience.Highschool diploma or GED.Willingness to learn.**Disclaimer**Forte Opening Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
