Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our automotive manufacturing operations. You will move materials, stage parts, and assist the quality team to maintain product standards.

The shift is 1st, from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with pay of $14.50/hr and a $100 referral bonus. Applicants should have a high school diploma, forklift certification, and at least 6 months of forklift experience, plus the ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Forklift experience required—At least 6 months.
• Valid forklift certification/license required.
• Basic understanding of quality inspection procedures is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to designated areas to support the production flow.
• Assist by staging materials to the appropriate locations.
• Ensure accurate tracking of part movement using scanning equipment or manual logs.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily and report any issues or safety concerns.
• Adhere to plant safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Support sorting, containment, or rework activities as directed by Quality Inspectors or Leads.
• Participate in 5S initiatives and maintain a clean and organized work area.
