Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Reach Truck Operators in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package in a safe, team-focused environment.

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will handle HVAC parts using reach trucks and sit-down forklifts, read WMS orders, and perform accurate picking, staging, and documentation with attention to safety and quality. Excellent overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into computer systems.
• Overtime work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Identify and correct potential process errors to protect the customer.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify pallets and locations.
• Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation with product accountability.
• Follow location and work center safety and security policies.
• May train others in warehouse functions and operate powered industrial lift equipment.

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay $30.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm or 6:00am - 2:30pm and frequent overtime assigned on Saturdays with short notice

• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customerRecognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
• May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipmen, perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
• Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery
