Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a sit-down forklift operator for a Monday–Friday 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm shift. Direct hire with benefits and PTO starting day one.

Responsibilities include pulling routes, staging freight, assisting drivers, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate packaging, OS&D tagging, and safe procedures under TSA/OSHA guidelines. 1-year warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required for site operations.
• RF scan gun proficiency required for inventory management.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling loads.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to move cargo and load/unload trucks.
• Pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers.
• Use RF scanner for inventory and order accuracy.
• Handle packaging, labeling, and OS&D tagging.
• Follow TSA/OSHA safety guidelines and maintain safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
