Job summary

The Lee Group is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for Sandston, VA to safely move raw materials and finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will operate sit-down forklifts, stage materials, and support production while following safety procedures. Applicants should have 2–3 years of sit-down forklift experience; certification is preferred. Direct hire, on-site, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Transport and stage materials in designated production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Supply production areas with materials to prevent production delays.
• Maneuver a forklift safely and accurately in tight spaces and active production areas.
• Move, position, and store materials while helping prevent product damage and waste.
• Maintain an efficient work pace while following all forklift and safety procedures.
• Monitor surroundings and maintain awareness of production equipment, materials, and personnel while operating a forklift.
