Job summary

The Lee Group is hiring experienced Forklift Operators in Sandston, VA. Direct-hire, 1st and 2nd shifts, pay $16.00/hour plus up to $300 biweekly attendance bonus. The role involves moving materials safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and requires 2–3 years of sit-down forklift experience, certification preferred.

Primary duties include transporting, staging, and positioning raw materials and finished products, while adhering to safety procedures and keeping production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces and active production areas.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Transport and stage materials in production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Supply production areas with materials to prevent production delays.
• Maneuver a forklift safely in tight spaces and active production areas.
• Move, position, and store materials while preventing damage and waste.
• Maintain an efficient pace while following safety procedures.
• Monitor surroundings and maintain awareness of equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Assist with material handling and other duties as needed.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas.
• Wear all required PPE.
