Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate forklift and other heavy industrial equipment.

You will move baled paper from staging areas in accordance with mill production specifications, and you will work a 12-hour day/night rotation, including holidays, outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least 3 years of forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• Minimum 3 years of forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other heavy equipment to move baled paper and other materials in staging areas.
• Work a 12-hour day and night rotational shift; be available for holidays.
• Pull, pick, and stage paper bales based on production needs and schedules.
• Maintain neat, safe stacks of stock in staging areas.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow daily production schedule and safety policies; comply with company procedures.
