Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator I in Minnesota. This role moves materials between inventory and production, labels and packs goods, and supports production with material needs.

You will handle yard organization and complete production records while following safety rules. The position requires at least 18 years old and a forklift licensing process; experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift Driver licensing process must be completed.
• No minimum experience required, forklift driving experience preferred.
• Basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move material between inventory and production stations.
• Band, wrap, or label finished goods; move to finished goods inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Keep material and inventory yard organized and clean.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety and CI programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job SummaryForklift Operator I is responsible for the movement of material from inventory to production and back to inventory. Maintains correct paperwork and production records as required.
