Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to support our Coastal production operations in Florida. The role involves loading/unloading, material handling from the line to designated areas, and operating both forklift and clamper trucks. You will manage yard inventory, perform quality checks, and use a tablet for inventory tasks.

Flexibility for overtime is required. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years forklift experience in a manufacturing setting, strong customer service,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to follow company production and safety procedures.
• Ability to pass internal certification training.
• Willing to work flexible schedules/overtime as required.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Able to work in a dusty environment.

Job Summary

This position requires operating a forklift on both paved and unpaved surfaces. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Quality control including count verification, packaging, and product characteristics (height, color, shape, etc., training will be provided)

• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
