Job summary

Carlex Glass Manufacturing in Vonore, TN is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to move materials safely and efficiently within our facility. The role requires operating forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, and adhering to safety protocols.

The successful candidate will have a valid forklift certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a 12-hour day/night shift with overtime as needed, including a night shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and storage facilities.
• Assist in inventory counts and record keeping as needed.
