Job summary

Gojob is hiring Forklift Operators in Mt. Juliet, TN to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of forklift and warehouse experience and be proficient with sit-down forklifts, EPJ, and additional equipment such as cherry pickers or reach trucks.

Shifts are 1st 7:00am-4:00pm and 2nd 4:00pm-12:30am. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, staging, RF scanning, labeling, and palletizing while maintaining safety and inventory

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years forklift and warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklift and EPJ, plus at least one of: cherry picker, dock stocker, reach truck, or stand-up forklift.
• Experience with RF scanners, labeling, sorting, loading, unloading, and palletizing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack (EPJ).
• Must be able to operate at least one additional type of equipment: cherry picker, dock stocker, reach truck, or stand-up forklift.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Transport, stack, and palletize products while maintaining safe and organized storage areas.
• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and verify inventory and product movement.
• Label, sort, pack, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and equipment operating guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are handled correctly.
• Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot basic issues, and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of forklift and warehouse experience and be proficient in operating multiple types of material-handling equipment, including a sit-down forklift, an electric pallet jack (EPJ), and at least one additional forklift type: cherry picker, dock stocker, reach truck, or stand-up forklift.The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical warehouse duties, including lifting, loading, unloading, scanning, and palletizing products. • Demonstrated ability to operate a sit-down forklift and EPJ, plus at least one of the following: cherry picker, dock stocker, reach truck, or stand-up forklift.
• Experience with RF scanners, labeling, scanning, sorting, loading, unloading, and palletizing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment operation.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 35+ pounds as needed.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive lifting tasks.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to load, unload, move, and handle warehouse materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Work Environment
