Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: DHL Supply Chain

Shift: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 5pm to 1:30am

Pay: $21 base + $.75 shift differential

Role Overview:

As a Forklift Operator, you will move stock within our warehouse, load and unload shipments, and operate equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Our environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load, unload, move, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment.
2. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
3. Maintain inventory records and reports.
4. Adhere to OSHA and MSDS standards.
5. Verify load accuracy and report variances.
6. Change batteries or LP tanks and monitor equipment power sources.
7. Keep equipment and materials organized and clean.
8. Assist with physical inventories and equipment inspections.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Forklift operator certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months forklift operation experience required.

Additional Skills:

Experience with warehouse management systems (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP) is a plus. Skills in production, manufacturing, general labor, quality control, and material handling are beneficial.
