Job summary

Valley View Manufacturing is seeking reliable Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse, yard, and manufacturing environment. You will safely move materials, load/unload trucks, stage products for production teams, and keep facilities organized and efficient.

In this role, you’ll report daily forklift inspections, assist with inventory counts, and communicate effectively with drivers and teammates, while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in warehouse, yard, manufacturing, or light-industrial environment.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Basic math skills and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English for workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, heavy-lift, or similar) to move products and materials.
• Load and unload trucks, production lines, and storage areas.
• Stack, organize, and band materials for storage or shipping.
• Stage raw materials and finished goods for production teams.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas (sweeping, debris removal, proper material placement).
• Assist with inventory counts and update ERP/warehouse systems to ensure accurate locations.
• Verify materials meet required specifications before staging.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and drivers.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; adapt to changing priorities.

Salary info:
