Job summary

Maersk in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support loading/unloading, staging freight, and order fulfillment. You will operate forklifts, use RF scanners, and follow TSA/OSHA safety guidelines. This role requires English fluency, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and available overtime.

Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and flexible schedules. Schedules: Mon–Fri day shifts; occasional weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • RF scan gun experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
  • Fluency in reading/writing/speaking English.
  • Forklift certifications preferred.

  • Operate forklift and read detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and annotate OS&D (overages, shortages, damages).
  • Ensure safety per TSA and OSHA guidelines and work with fellow team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks
  • Forklift experience required
  • Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and other similar duties, ensuring timeliness, packaging, and accurate completion of systems work
  • Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including TSA and OSHA guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap material
  • Experience using an RF scan gun (required)
  • Previous forklift certifications preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
  • Excellent reading and comprehension of work instructions
  • Strong teamwork skills with little supervision
  • High attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred (minimum 1 year)
Schedule

Mon‑Friday 6am‑2pm, 8am‑4pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $19‑$21 per hour. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
