Job summary

Clopay Corporation, a leading door manufacturer, seeks Forklift Operators / Material Handlers in Troy, Ohio. Starting pay is $19.40 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential, with increases up to $25.61 after 24 months.

Shifts: 2nd 3pm-11pm, 3rd 11pm-7am, weekends 7am-7pm, with responsibilities including unloading, verifying orders, and inventory control. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, forklift certification, RF scanner proficiency, and a proven warehouse

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and forklift use.
• Proficient in RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments off trucks.
• Compare shipments with bills of lading, invoices, or records for accuracy.
• Unpack and inspect products; move to proper storage areas.
• Maintain inventory records by scanning materials moved in and out.
• Convey materials using forklift, tow motor, or hand trucks.
• Perform inventory as required and report shortages.
• Follow safety regulations and keep the area clean.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.

We currently have openings for Forklift Operators / Material Handlers in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Forklift Operator is $19.40 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $25.61 after 24 months.

Shift Schedule:

• 2nd shift hours Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm.

• 3rd shift hours Monday – Friday 11pm-7am.
• Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 7am-7pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Unload incoming shipments off trucks.
• Compare incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records to verify accuracy of order.
• Unpack and examine incoming product for damage; move materials to correct storage area or department.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning materials moved in and out of warehouse, and completing sub inventory transfers.
• Convey incoming materials from receiving platform to storage or work areas by using forklift, tow motor, hand trucks or other devices.
• Perform inventory as required; inform supervisor of any shortages.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other job-related duties and activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 50lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Proficient in using RF scanners.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
