Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments, and use equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. We operate in a team-oriented, fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will be an essential part of everyday life at DHL.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment (80% of shift)
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types
• Maintain inventory records and reports
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy, check for stability and damage, report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks, monitor power sources
• Keep equipment and materials organized and clean
• Assist with physical inventories
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Forklift operator certificate or completed forklift training within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred)
• Six months forklift operation experience
