Novolex is hiring a Forklift Operator in Canandaigua, NY to support a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shift options include C and A shifts with immediate hiring and competitive compensation.

Pay includes up to $21.59 per hour plus shift differential and bonus opportunities, with a $1,000 sign-on and $250 referral bonus. Candidates must be able to communicate in English and obtain forklift certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift and clamp lift as needed.
• Receive and process material movement orders.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Support recycling, repacking, and labeling tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout requirements.

Job Description

Forklift Operator | Canandaigua Warehouse| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Come to 2480 Sommers Drive, Canandaigua, NY 14424

Available Shifts:

C Shift: 4pm - 12am Monday - Friday

A Shift: 12am - 8am Monday - Friday

Compensation:

• Paying up to $21.59 + $.75 - $1.25/hr shift differential
• Now offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Offering a $250 Referral Bonus
• Eligible for pay for skill program to increase pay as you gain skills

Responsibilities

• Including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment
• Receive and understand material movement orders
• Cycle counting support
• Physical inventory support (non-poly and finished goods)
• Recycle support
• Repack boxes, stencil/re-label boxes, stretch wrap product, hand stack product
• Housekeeping Duties; inventory consolidation; material reclaim and scrap
• Must have proven experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/Logistics environment
• Sit-down Forklift Truck Experience
• Prior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle mounted (VMU) computer systems preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Push-pull attachment operation a plus
• Minimum of 1 years recent forklift experience preferred
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Must successfully complete forklift certification program; complete certification manual within 90 days of placement
• Basic knowledge of mathematics
• Must have the basic ability to communicate, orally and written, in the English language
• Must have the basic ability to communicate, orally and written, in the English language
• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervision
• Will be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment
