Kerry is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move goods across receiving, storage, production and shipping areas, documenting inventory in SAP and supporting warehouse organization.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to work in a fast-paced plant, and collaboration with truck drivers; physical demands include lifting up to 50–100 pounds and standing for long periods.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• 1-3 years of shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes.
• Must pass necessary tests to earn forklift certification.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

About the role

Job Summary

The primary functions of the Forklift Operator position are to safely and securely transport finished goods and raw materials between the receiving docks, storage areas, production, packaging, warehouse, and the shipping docks. Responsibilities also include using SAP to document and maintain inventory, complete inbound and outbound inspections, and ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position works primarily in warehouse of the plan, but often range into all plant areas. The temperature in these areas is comfortable for approximately 9 months per year. During the summer, temperatures often exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Large-scale industrial fans are available. The air in the processing areas is occasionally dusty, caused by flour and other ingredients, especially during periods of deep cleaning.

• The pay rate for this position is $18.34 per hour.
