Job summary

Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a Warehouse Associate to build loads using forklift and pallet jack, ensure accuracy in loading and documentation, and support 24/7 bakery operations. You will unload, stage, wrap, and move pallets, while keeping a clean, safe workspace and adapting to varying shifts including weekends.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and inventory related field preferred.
• High School education required.
• Forklift certified or experienced with Stand Up forklift and EPJ.

Responsibilities

• Build loads using forklift and/or pallet jack from order system or sheets.
• Ensure accuracy in loading and proper shipper/receiver documentation.
• Turn in paperwork with order and have truck checked.
• Unload pallets and place them in designated warehouse space.
• Stage pallets and load into trucks when ready.
• Wrap pallets after loading is finished.
• Move full pallets and remove returned pallets/plastic flats.
• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to pick areas and assemble loads per sheet.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be flexible to weather and hours; weekends work possible.

Responsibilities:

• Works from electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack.
• Follows warehouse instructions in building loads.
• Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation.
• Turn in paperwork with order for check before loading and have truck checked.
• Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats.
• Responsible for unloading pallets and placing them in designated warehouse space.
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet.
• Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on workload and may vary daily.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse and inventory related field is preferred
• High School education required
• Must be forklift certified or have forklift experience with Stand Up and EPJ
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
• Bilingual (Preferred, Not Required)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 85lbs with assisted lifting.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.

Environmental Conditions

• There is exposure to dust and allergens.
• All machines are equipped with protective guards, and all safety protocols must be followed.
• Personal Protective Equipment is available.
• Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule, that includes evenings and weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Position Information:

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Position Closing Date: 10/30/2026

Pay: $23 to $25
Shift Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, as our bakery operates 24/7, seven days a week.

3rd - 8pm to 4:30am
