Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate in Suffolk, VA. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and may include overtime based on business needs. A background check and drug screening are required.

Typical duties include operating lift trucks, scanning items, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to quality policies and process standards.

Qualifications

Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Preferred Experience: Stand-up forklift and slip-sheet experience is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate, you’ll help keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. On a typical day, you will:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, and move products, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
• Follow Supply Chain quality policies and procedures.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift more than 75 lbs.
• Lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
