Job description

Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Streetsboro, Ohio

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $28 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm, 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging equipment, including making minor adjustments using small hand tools.

• Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 80 lbs.), shoveling, and sweeping as required.

• Accurately read, count, and maintain clear and complete documentation.

• Operate forklifts and move materials safely throughout the facility.

• Support functions across different roles, including Bagger Operator, Hand-Add, Pre-Batch, and Forklift Operator.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with site safety and housekeeping standards.

• Follow lockout/tagout procedures when required.

• Participate in other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience is required.

• Experience with lockout/tagout procedures is strongly preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform physical labor in an industrial environment.

• Ability to read and maintain accurate paperwork and inventory counts.

• Comfortable working across multiple functions depending on shift and production needs.
