Job description

Join the team as a Forklift Operator in Brook Park, Ohio, where you’ll enjoy great benefits, a supportive work environment, and unlimited opportunities for advancement.

This is a full-time position: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am (4 days one week and 3 days the next).

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items efficiently.
  • Transport materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Optimize load configurations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Secure loads to forklifts and other equipment before transport.
  • Inspect inventory for damages or defects to maintain quality standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Utilize RF scanners and tablets to manage inventory.
  • Operate a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory control.
  • Pick, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and maintain a strong safety record.
Requirements:
  • Valid forklift certification (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other technical equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic mathematical aptitude for inventory management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
