Job summary

Sunny Delight Beverages Company is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Dayton, New Jersey plant. You will load/unload trucks, track inventory with a scanning system, and move pallets from the production line using a forklift.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, 18+ years old, and valid work authorization in the U.S. Exposure to PPE is expected, along with a drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a drug screen and physical.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse.
Tracking inventory using the scanning system.
Removing pallets from the production line using a forklift.
Operate palletizers, troubleshoot photo eye sensors, proxies, machine controls, etc.
Perform stocking for palletizers according to standard procedures.

We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our Dayton, New Jersey plant. The Forklift Operator will be a key player in our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our products, dedicated to excellence, and eager to contribute to our mission of providing delicious and refreshing beverages to consumers nationwide.

Job Description

Loading and unloading trucks in our warehouse.

Operate palletizers, troubleshoot photo eye sensors, proxies, machine controls, etc.

Additional task as assigned.

Requirements

Prefer individuals with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent
Pass a drug screen and physical
Must possess a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels
Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
