Job summary

Elwood Staffing - Columbus, IN is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely move, load, and stage materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shifts include A and B schedules with weekend rotation, requiring standing and operation of powered equipment.

You will inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and use RF scanners to track inventory. Prior forklift experience with stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or electric pallet jacks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, or electric pallet jacks (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong detail orientation with focus on safety and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations, RF scanners, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift, reach truck, cherry picker or electric pallet jack to move, stack, and stage materials safely.
• Load and unload trucks, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.
• Transport inventory to storage areas and maintain organized warehouse locations.
• Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report maintenance or safety issues.
